Do I have to prep my game in the field myself?

No, your guide will prep the game for you (gutting and skinning)

What does your hunting package exclude?

Our hunting package does not include the following: Items of personal needs, personal insurance, licenses and permits, Gratuities for the hunting guide and lodge staff, butchering and shipping of your trophy (deer).

Can my wife accompany me on the hunt?

Yes she can, she can choose to stay at the resort and enjoy the spa and other recreational activities or she can go with you in the blind.  The regulations say that she can sit in the blind with you as long as she is wearing appropriate hunting gear. We have packages available for the non hunter as well.  Call us for details as we will tailor our packages to suite your needs.

What is the WMU Boundary for your hunting area?

We are located just beside the Peterborough Crown Games Reserve and our WMU Boundary number is 60.  The tentative hunt date is Nov. 6 to the 19, 2006.  This will be confirmed by the Ministry in the spring. We will run two 7 day hunts.

Can I bring my son that is under 16 and have him hunt with me?

Yes, if you qualify as a Mentor, contact the local Ministry of Natural Resources at 705-755-2001 for a fact sheet and further details.

I am a United States Citizen, what do I need for paper work to come and hunt at your resort in Canada?

You will need to apply for a non resident license, call 1-800-667-1940 for details on applying.  We can also make this call for you to obtain the application. The price quoted by the Ministry office was $178. This allows you to hunt antlered deer only.

As a United States Citizen, what customs paperwork do I need to cross the boarder with my game?

You will need to contact the local Ministry office once you have made your kill and set up an appointment to go in and fill out the export documentation. For more information call 1-705-755-2001.
